Read this if you are willing to upgrade CS5 to CS5.5
* Open each Adobe app you intend to uninstall and go to HELP then DEACTIVATE once deactivated close the apps.

THIS IS THE MOST IMPORTANT STEP.

* Use the add/remove programe feature in control pannel to uninstall the apps.
* Restart after the uninstall.
* Install the windows clean up tool (restart if it asks you to).(you will get clean up tool in Adobe CS5_5&gt; Activation&gt;Manually Activation for window&gt;Step_1.Uninstall Adobe)
* Run the windows clean up tool (youll find it in the start menu).
* Select the Adobe apps and uninstall them (they may well be gone).
* Restart.
(Now you can install, Use the keygen to activate again and follow the instruction)

Note: why you will have to Uninstall Previous CS5 because when you will upgrade Adobe will ask you to input your new and previous serial numbers in the serialization screen shown during launch.
(if you have previous key so you may leave these steps but if you are not willing to uninstall so first try NeX keygen for previous CS5 and new CS5.5 key during serialization screen launch. if this will not work for previous key you will have to follow above steps)

For 32 Bit window user

You cannot install or run Adobe Premiere Pro CS5.5 or After Effects CS5.5 on any of following

Operating systems:
32-bit and 64-bit editions of Windows XP Home or Professional
32-bit editions of Windows Vista Home Basic, Home Premium, Business, Ultimate, or Enterprise
32-bit editions of Windows 7 Starter, Home Premium, Professional, or Ultimate
If you are using a 32-bit operating system, Adobe recommends that you upgrade to either:
64-bit edition of Windows Vista Home Premium, Business, Ultimate, or Enterprise
64-bit edition of Windows 7 Home Premium, Professional, or Ultimate
