What is Calibre and why do I need it?
Calibre is an open source book organizer that is useful to transfer files between your device (Kindle) and your computer. This library takes full advantage of Calibre by offering custom columns and covers. You don't need it but it's much easier to organize your books with it. Version 0.7.57, the latest as of this posting, is included in the torrent. You can download the latest version here here:
Which column contains the quality of the book: rating or quality?
I have gone and opened each book individually and rated the quality of the books. You will only see the ratings if you import the library (see instructions below) and you will find the ratings under the "Quality" column. There is also a "ratings" column which is added by default in Calibre. This column can be hidden (right click on the column) and only contains metadata ratings pulled from Amazon.
Can I add this to the Kindle app on my Android phone?
Kindle only syncs purchases made on their online store. You would be better off using the ePub version and the free app Aldiko.
How to add books to Calibre
UnRAR the compressed files, and in Calibre under the "Add Books" button, select the second choice, Add including Subdirectories with one book per directory.
You can also import Library.dat from the RAR's root directory into Calibre, and then follow the "Add Books" step above to speed up the import process.
Rating System
You will only see the rating system if you import the library into Calibre. The ratings are listed under the "Quality" column.
1 Star - Uncorrect, raw scan straight from source (~0.1%)
2 Stars - First Release, maybe page numbers throughout book or other formating errors making it difficult to read (~0.4%)
3 Stars - Minor formatting errors, no TOC (~1%)
4 Stars - Close to retail, minus formatting, Includes TOC (~30%)
5 Stars - Full Retail or indistinguishable (~69%)
